How do we make Project Snail Mail work?

Project Snail Mail was developed by Code VA's Eureka Workshop and Curriculum teams to provide students with offline computer science activities during a time when we're all getting more screen time than ever before. We love computers and the problem-solving skills that computer science requires, but even here at Code VA we like to create ways for students and parents to learn together! Most of these activities are done WITHOUT a screen, and can be printed out to enjoy!

All of Eureka Workshop's programming is arts-integrated. We believe that creative problem solving is the foundation of most Computer Science concepts and methods of computational thinking. Using art projects, plants, secret messages, and more to introduce these concepts helps makes computer science accessible to everybody while fostering creative thinking.

Every activity we include is developed by our Eureka Workshop Instructors. Our instructors are skilled in creating experiences that combine the problem-solving skills of the arts and computer science. Through encouraged experimentation and supported trial and error, our students learn and grow together.
